How do I secure a portrait session with you?

Getting things rolling is easy! Just reach out to me with the date you’re eyeing, and I’ll handle the rest. To secure the date, there’s a $250 non-refundable deposit required, which can be shifted to a new date if you let me know with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Do you offer upgrades if we go with a smaller shoot package?

Absolutely, I’ve got you covered when it comes to upgrading during the selection phase. I’ve got set package upgrades ready to roll – you can opt for up to 25 images or go all-in for the full gallery by just covering the difference to the next package. And hey, if you’re looking for an image package that doesn’t fit into these two options, no worries at all. I can whip up a custom quote tailored to the number of images you’ve got on your favorites list. Flexibility is the name of the game!

Do you offer payment plans?

You got it! Here’s how it rolls – think of it like a layby system, where we work together to pay off the session leading up to the big shoot. It’s important to have it all squared away before the shoot day. We can totally spread it out into 2 or 3 payments, whatever works best with our timeline.

I’ve also got Afterpay available, and if you prefer, I can process payments in person on the day of the shoot. It’s all about making things easy and stress-free for you!

How would you describe your style?

I like to take a natural approach to my portraits. While I do guide my clients, I do so in a way that doesn’t feel forced or non-genuine. As for my editing techniques, I love bright and well-lit photographs full of colour.

What should we wear?

I believe your wardrobe sets the tone for your photos. For mums, If you are unsure on what to wear, I’ve got you covered with my client wardrobe. I’ve curated a collection of dresses in sizes 8-18, designed to make your outfit choice a breeze. My goal is to remove any outfit-related stress. Styling is my jam, and I’m excited to collaborate closely with you on this. We’ll even have a session planning call where we can connect and tailor the perfect session for your family. Based on our chat, I’ll offer styling suggestions that suit your vibe. But as a general tip, I always recommend wearing clothes that make you feel comfortable and authentically you.

How many people are allowed at the session?

For my family sessions, I usually keep it cozy with up to 10 people.

Do you offer extended family shoots?

Absolutely, I do! While I typically focus on sessions with around 10 people or fewer, I’m more than happy to accommodate extended family gatherings too. There’s a small additional fee for these sessions. Feel free to reach out to me, and I’ll be happy to provide you with more information about the pricing.

Can I bring my dog to the shoot?

I’d be thrilled to have them join the session. Just give me a heads up beforehand so we can pick pet-friendly spots for our shoot. Looking forward to capturing some adorable moments with your furry friend!

What happens if it rains or someone gets sick?

In case of heavy rainfall and you’re keen on an outdoor session, we can always consider picking another day that works. If rescheduling doesn’t quite fit, no worries – an in-home session could be a fantastic alternative. And hey, life happens – whether it’s someone feeling a bit under the weather or unexpected situations, rescheduling is absolutely on the table.

Do you recommend locations?

I have a great list of locations available to view on my website here. These have been tried and tested and work really well with my style of editing. I love to visit new locations though and am happy to find that perfect spot for your fam! I will help with planning all of this during our session planning call.

Will you travel outside of the Perth metro area?

Depending on my schedule, I have no problem traveling. Please enquire for travel pricing.

What happens if my child freaks out?

This is a completely normal fear and I get it. Kids are unpredictable and sometimes a temper tantrum is inevitable. When this happens, we will simply take a little break, allowing them to calm down by talking/feeding/playing and then take the appropriate steps to easing back into the session. I will never force photos or send you on your way. That’s a promise!

Do you do mini sessions?

I don’t offer mini sessions on a regular basis. I love to provide a fun experience for my clients and do feel that limiting the time does add unnecessary pressure to the session to get the shots in a shorter time frame. By booking a full session you will have the time to fully relax into the session. Saying that you may see me offer them though at random times of the year for travel events like Lancelin Sand Dunes or a seasonal event. Do you give discounts for referrals?

I do! If you send a client our way and they book a session, I’ll provide you with $50 off your next session.
