Something I often hear from mums is that they have so many photos of their children, husband, grandparents, and everyone else but never of themselves. The other thing I hear is how much regret a mother has when she doesn’t allow herself to be seen in front of the camera in those early days. I think we can all agree that as women, we often are waiting for everything to be perfect before allowing ourselves to be seen.

When you have young children, time tends to slip by. When the kids are tiny, and the craziness is high, you don’t have a lot of time to stop and reflect. Over time you will find that photographs are a way to hold onto that sweetness and remember those little details about your kids and your family life.

Those that have been around me for a while know that I am all about life’s stories. I feel I have a unique style here in Perth. I want to capture what is true to your family because the truth is… it doesn’t matter what you wear, or where we go, or what the weather’s like. None of that is important.

What is important though is the way the kids are looking at you like you are their whole world, the little moments between shots where we can see your happiness, and the way your man smiles at you without you realizing.
